SLM SKILLNET - WHO WE ARE
The network was established in 1999 as a result of identified common training needs by managers from the food & drink manufacturing companies. Initially members were clustered in the South Leinster and Munster regions, but as membership expanded training is provided locally, regionally and nationally.

The SLM skillnet is a non-profit limited company managed by a voluntary steering committee representing member companies with a dedicated manager.

SLM provides facilitation, information and funding to enable companies to deliver training solutions appropriate to company size, sector and situation. In addition, SLM assists member companies to develop innovative methods of remaining competitive through staff development and retention.

SLM membership is open to any food and drink manufacturing company, micro to multinational and allied industries. There is no membership fee.
